Experienced E-2 Immigration Paralegal
You will support the preparation of E-2 visa applications and other business, employment-based, and family immigration matters. We are looking for someone with hands-on case preparation and drafting experience who can take a matter from client intake through a complete, filing-ready case package for attorney review.
Full Job Description
Qualifications
- At least one year of hands-on experience preparing E-2 visa cases, including client intake, document collection, evidence organization, and preparation of application packages.
- Experience preparing other business or employment-based immigration matters is strongly preferred, including E-1, L-1, O-1, H-1B, TN, EB-5, EB-1A, and EB-2 NIW.
- Experience with family-based immigration matters, including marriage-based green cards and adjustment of status, is a plus.
- Strong writing skills, including experience drafting petition support letters, cover letters, factual summaries, and other supporting materials.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and proactively follow up with clients to obtain missing information and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, identify incomplete or inconsistent evidence, and prepare well-organized case packages with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Experience limited to asylum or removal defense does not satisfy the E-2 experience requirement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client intake and collect the information and documentation needed to prepare immigration cases.
- Manage client questionnaires, document requests, follow-ups, and case files throughout the preparation process.
- Review client-provided information and supporting documents for completeness, consistency, and potential gaps requiring attorney attention.
- Prepare immigration forms, supporting documentation, exhibit indexes, and organized evidence packages for attorney review.
- Draft petition support letters, cover letters, factual summaries, and other supporting written materials, as appropriate for the visa category.
- Prepare E-2 case packages, including documentation relating to the investment, source and path of funds, business ownership, business operations, financial information, and business plans.
- Organize supporting evidence for employment-based and extraordinary-ability cases, including credentials, employment records, awards, publications, expert letters, and other relevant documentation, as applicable.
- Assist with the preparation of USCIS petitions, consular visa applications, and related immigration filings, as appropriate to the matter.
- Track filing deadlines, maintain accurate case records, and coordinate responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other follow-up requests.
- Prepare complete, filing-ready case packages for attorney review, revision, approval, and submission.

E-2 Visa Specialist (Closer)
This is a closing role. Your calendar is filled for you with pre-qualified business owners and investors who booked a consultation, and your job is to run that call, present the engagement, and close. You follow a proven 19-step closing script, keep your pipeline and CRM notes current, and work your own no-shows and follow-ups until each prospect decides.
Full Job Description
What the Role Looks Like
- Daily booked appointments. You do not prospect cold. Our marketing and intake team fill your calendar with people who already completed our eligibility check.
- A 19-step closing script that we train you on and expect you to follow. You bring the judgment, the listening, and the close.
- Admin is part of the job: pipeline stages updated the same day, CRM notes after every call, and follow-up tasks set before you move on.
- Outbound on your own pipeline: calling and texting no-shows, reschedules, and undecided prospects until they book again or close.
- Strategy calls with the attorney and paralegal on the line, where you lead the close and see the engagement letter signed on the call.
Qualifications
- At least two years closing by phone or video for a professional service, a high-value offer, or a legal, financial, or immigration product.
- Comfortable running a scripted, structured call from discovery to the decision, and asking for the decision on the call.
- Disciplined with a CRM. You update every record the same day, keep follow-up dates, and never let a prospect fall through the cracks.
- Reliable with a daily appointment calendar. You show up on time, prepared, every day.
- Clear, warm written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus; many of our prospects are first-generation business owners.
- Genuine interest in immigration and in the people behind each case. Prospects are making a life decision, and they can tell when the person on the call cares.
- Experience with the E-2 visa, or with business immigration generally, is preferred but not required. We train you on the law you need to know.
Responsibilities
- Run every booked consultation on your calendar using the closing script.
- Assess fit, answer practical questions about the process, and present the firm’s engagement clearly and honestly.
- Collect the initial deposit and book the strategy call with the attorney.
- Lead the strategy call close and see the engagement letter signed before the call ends.
- Own every prospect until the engagement is signed: pipeline updates, CRM notes, scheduling, reschedules, and follow-up.
- Work your no-shows and undecided prospects by phone and text on a set cadence.
- Report weekly on calls, closes, and the reasons prospects do not move forward, so marketing and the attorney can improve the process.
